My Journey
A journey driven by curiosity, creativity, and continuous growth, from exploring design as a passion to building impactful digital experiences across industries.
Design Beginnings
2019 · DIT University, Dehradun
My journey into design began in 2019 when I enrolled in a Bachelor’s in Design (UX specialization) at DIT University, Dehradun. Introduced to the field by a friend, I was instantly drawn to the idea of transforming imagination into real-world experiences, something that resonated deeply with my childhood interest in drawing and sketching.
Surrounded by the serene beauty of Dehradun, nestled along Mussoorie Road, my college years became a perfect blend of creativity and exploration. I immersed myself fully in learning, gaining hands-on experience early on through internships and freelance projects right from my first year.
Early Hustle & Real-World Exposure
2019 - 2023
Choosing Growth Over Brand
2023 · Octet Design Studio

At the start of my professional career, I had offers from both a Big 4 firm and a startup. Instead of choosing the brand name, I chose learning. I joined Octet Design Studio- a decision that proved to be a turning point in my career.
Working in a design-first environment alongside experienced designers gave me the exposure I was looking for. Over the next 2.5 years, I worked on multiple high impact projects, often managing 3-4 projects simultaneously.
I also:
Led small teams and mentored interns
Worked directly with international clients (UK & Egypt)
Participated in client pitches with founders and leadership teams
Delivered solutions under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
This phase significantly strengthened both my design thinking and leadership skills.
Expanding Into Data & Systems
Present · Adani Group (Solar Manufacturing)
Currently, I’m part of the Adani Group, working within its solar manufacturing division. Here, my role focuses on designing and managing dashboards used by on-ground teams to monitor machine data and daily operations.
This transition marked a shift from purely creative design to data-driven problem solving. I’ve been working closely with analytics and visualization, and also expanded my skill set by learning tools like Power BI.
While the nature of work is different from my previous role, it has added a new dimension to my thinking, helping me bridge the gap between design, data, and real-world impact.
